After completing their graduation from the University of Calcutta, they are now fully devoted to professing and promoting the musical culture of their 600 years of old Banaras Gharana. Prakash & Deepak have learned the art of 'Khayal Gayaki' under keen and auspicious guidance of their Grand Father, Late Gayanacharya Pt. Damodar Mishra, Father & Guru, Pt. Mohanlal Mishra and uncles Pt. Rajan, Pt. Sajan Mishra & Pt. Sohan Lal Mishra. Bestowed with melodious, sombre, natural and resonant voices with special richness and effortless to range the main features of their singing are the superb exposition of Raga's followed by complex 'Taans' and 'Upaj'.
