BRIEF LIFE SKETCH OF ACHARYA PANDIT BUNDI MAHARAJ JI
Pandit Bundi Maharaj, the fourth son of late Pandit Baichu Prasadji Mishra,
was born on 1865 in the ancient holy land of Benaras by the eastern side of
which flows the sacred river Ganges. Pt. Bundi Maharaj started his musical
learning from his elder brother late Pt. Shyama Prasadji Mishra and
simultaneously learned Classical Music from Late Pt. Bhagatji. By virtue of his
hard labour and untiring riyaaz of Classical Music with ultimate devotion days
after days and years after years, he reached the zenith of Hindustani Classical
